My name is Dan Rawlinson, and I am a photography student based in Manchester, currently studying at Manchester Metropolitan University. My work is driven by an observational approach to the everyday lifestyle within urban spaces. I am fascinated by the relationship between people and the built environment, focusing on the unseen details that often go unnoticed in our daily routines.
Through street photography and wandering explorations, I aim to capture moments that reveal hidden layers of meaning in the urban landscape. By documenting these fleeting encounters and overlooked elements, I seek to challenge perceptions of the familiar, offering a fresh perspective on the spaces we inhabit. My work invites viewers to reflect on the subtle interactions between individuals and their surroundings, uncovering beauty in the unnoticed and highlighting the often invisible connections within the urban space.
Moving forward, I am working towards

scene, which I plan to make a career out of
